Roma Termini Train Station is the largest train station in Italy and one of Europe's main stations. It was named after the district of the same name.
Roma Termini is the main hub of public transport of Rome. Rome's metro lines A and B intersects at Roma Termini metro station and exactly in front of the train station, in Piazza dei Cinquecento, there is a very large bus station.
Inside the train station there is a large shopping center which provides services and shops. You will find also restaurants, a supermarket, a post office, a ticket office, a police station, a left luggage service and many more.
Can be purchased from the ticket office (usually there is a long line of people waiting), from the automatic vending machines (multilanguage available) or from Trenitalia website.
We recommend you to buy the tickets from the automatic vending machines or from Trenitalia website (you can even get a discount when you buy online).
Please remember, if you purchased your tickets from the ticket office or from the automatic vending machines, be sure to validate your ticket by inserting it in one of the yellow stamping machines on or near the platforms.
Metro & Bus Tickets

Can be purchased from the subway ticket office downstairs, near the entrance to the subway or from the Tourist Information Point (in italian Punti Informativi Turistici, PIT), on Via Giovanni Giolitti, 34, a few meters away from the entrance to the train station. Left Luggage Service
If you need to leave your luggage for a few hours while you visit Rome, then it might be a good idea to use the left luggage service.
The office is open everyday from 06.00 to 23.00 and is located at the underground level of Roma Termini, closer to the entrance from Via Giolitti. The blue signs will guide you there.
The service fee is for each piece of luggage you want to deposit and cost 5 euro for the first 5 hours, 0.7 euro/hour from the 6th to the 12th hour, and 0.4 euro for every additional hour.
